Getting my kicks on Route 66

Time to check out and hit the road. I am on the eastern side about 10 minutes outside of Tulsa. Should be a great day weather wise. I am hoping to make it across the rest of Oklahoma, but there is a lot to see and I enjoy stopping.

Just a reminder with the weekend coming up, daylight saving ends November 6th. Get ready to FALL back an hour. Have a great day.

If anyone gets a chance to do this it is a great drive if you have the time. I am even rushing it some. You talk to a lot of neat people that like to share their stories on Route 66 and they love to give you ideas of what to see ahead. For me, I am calling it mid- life retirement. Just a little break in the hussle to enjoy life and do things I might not get the chance later. I know lots of folks that always wanted to, but will never get the chance. I joke with some friends how they work to much. You never know when life is going to end as you know it, so stop saying I need to do it or I will one day. Take the time and make it happen. Have a great day, off to enjoy the countryside and go back to the  history on Route 66 west and be part of it.
